Wow, it has been a long time!
This time of year in Germany is wonderful. Temps are headed upward. The days are longer. Most importantly, it is spargel season! I just love this stuff. So every year for about 5 to 6 weeks we feast. It is a very short season. But oh, so good!
Hubby dusted off his grill this past weekend and put it to go use! We ( ok, he….) grilled salmon and spargel. Fine dining,
Hubby cut some lemons and squeezed over the stalks.

One cannot live on spargel alone! Hubby grilled salmon also.
He patted the filet done with olive oil and minced garlic.

Next, we sliced the rest of the lemons.
Why you ask?
He cooked the filet on the bed of lemon slices. The result was heavenly!
My contribution was just a simple side salad of spinach, tomatoes, feta, and croutons.
We had a great meal. Pretty healthy too! Ok, maybe not the croutons!
