Awwww…. Memorial Day.  The official start to the summer.  Except here it did not feel much like summer.  However, that did not stop us!

This was our first ‘real’ meal together since Hubby and Amazing daughter returned.  From now until about October, Hubby LOVES to man the grill.  This past weekend was no exception.  As usual, the results were savoring.

We started with these…

Hubby marinated them in Hawaiian Sea Salt and rosemary for about 35 minutes.  Then he rinsed them off and padded them down.

Meanwhile,  I wrapped some baby asparagus in prosciutto.  Hubby added them on the grill for some indirect cooking.

So is the Angus Ribeye Steaks.  Hmmm… I wonder what happened?

Simple, but oh so good.  What a wonderful meal to celebrate the start of the summer.  It just felt right!
